With the celebration of Eco-Day, once again it was proved that Joy Senior Secondary School efficiently bears its social responsibility also.
The day started enthusiastically by the "Fancy-dress, Slogans presentation, Nukkad - Natak, Use of Unused, Card making" using polythene wrappers. "Khula Manch" was organised in the auditorium where the students came up with very good solutions to overcome the problems caused by leftover polythene wrappers.
Under S.E.W.A. programme initiated by CBSE, the students of class 11th Commerce organized an event of DIGINITY OF LABOUR under the guidance of mentor Mrs. Manmeet Kohli. Under which students took interview of 4th class staff members and also distributed them gift hampers. 21 staff members were present. Students contributed money out of their own pocket money for the Gift Hampers. The objective of this event was to create a filing of LOVE, RESPECT AND EMPATHY towards the staff members the event was successfully done by the students and the other staff members.
